Great for shaping!
I love this thing. absolutely excellent for material removal and shaping in wood. with this and another cutting bit, i found myself randomly making very cool looking wood carvings, something i've never done in any way before. absolutely love this.

only reason for 4 stars is the difficulty to cut straight lines. as another reviewer said, it can be done, but it's not the ideal use of this tool.
